About
Cork is a Mac app that gives you a graphical interface for Homebrew, so you no longer have to fight the Terminal to use it. You can search for Formulae and Casks and install them with a click, add any tap to access hundreds more packages, and uninstall anything cleanly. It also lets you inspect package details, including cache usage and dependencies, clear caches to free up space, view tap information, and start, stop, and monitor Homebrew services.
Cork is designed for ease of use and runs lightweight, using about 0.6% of RAM on the weakest Mac available. It is written mostly in SwiftUI with some AppKit, requires macOS 14 or later, and supports multiple languages including Chinese, Russian, and French. Its source code is publicly available, and it can be compiled for free.
Cork is available as a free self-compiled version with all features but no automated updates and limited support, and as a paid User License (25€ per license, with regional pricing available) that includes automated updates through Homebrew and support. A Business License with custom pricing and additional services is also offered. The website notes that license purchases are temporarily under maintenance, and directs users to the demo in the meantime.
