About
Data Sweeper: Disk Cleaner is a native macOS app that scans your drive to find what's using up space. It sorts results into four categories: System Data (caches, logs, and temporary files), Duplicate Files (exact matches), Large Files (such as old exports, unused simulators, and virtual machine files), and Junk Files (old installers and leftovers from uninstalled apps). You review the results and choose what to delete.
Deletions are cautious: selected items are moved to the Trash first, and nothing is permanently deleted without your review. The app runs locally with no account, no network connections, and no telemetry, and it only scans when you open it and start a scan. It supports macOS Sequoia and macOS Tahoe on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
DataSweeper costs $9.99 once, with no subscription, and the website says future updates are free. Version 1.1 added performance improvements, Apple Intelligence refinements, deep orphaned app removal, and a bug fix for files appearing twice.
