About
Deckset is a Mac app for turning your notes into presentations. You write in Markdown, either in your preferred text editor on Mac or directly in the Deckset iOS app on iPhone and iPad, and Deckset applies a theme and layout to the slides as you write. The site describes more than 25 built-in themes, with the option to create custom ones using fonts, colors, and layouts. Presentations can be previewed, presented live, rehearsed with presenter notes and timing, or exported as a PDF.
The Markdown source stays a plain-text file that is easy to edit, version, share, and reuse. The site notes that you can add images, video, tables, code, math, diagrams, and columns while keeping the source readable, and that a presentation can be opened across Mac, iPhone, and iPad. The Mac trial requires macOS Catalina (10.15) or newer.
The site also describes use with AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code: given notes, an outline, or a transcript, an agent with Deckset's authoring skill can create or revise the Markdown file, which is then opened in Deckset to check and edit the slides. Deckset is presented as suited to pitches, team updates, lecture slides, and other presentation work.
