About
DeepSeek Harness is a Mac desktop app (also runnable as a web page from code) from DeepSeek, built on the Cordis "everything is a plugin" architecture. It is open to global testing and released as open source. It supports everyday tasks such as organizing materials, analyzing spreadsheets, writing documents, and preparing reports; coding tasks such as understanding a repository, fixing issues, developing features, and running tests; and sourced research that cross-checks information. It can also run long tasks such as scripts and batch file processing in the background, with progress you can check at any time.
Its capabilities are extended through plugins. You can install existing plugins or create your own in "creation mode" through conversation, extending tools, skills, and interfaces. Users can schedule recurring tasks, such as a weekly project report, and view execution details through a developer tools panel. The site also points to developer documentation, GitHub, a community, and the Cordis paper.
