About
Devin Desktop Next (Beta) is a preview build for early adopters who want to try new features before they reach the standard release. It is available for macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel, with a macOS version requirement of the latest release and the two previous versions; macOS 10.15 is not supported.
The beta centers on the Agent Command Center, which the site describes as the place to manage all your agents in one place, including Spaces, a Kanban view, and multi-agent management. The full IDE experience remains accessible alongside it. Devin Desktop is the new name for Windsurf, built on the same IDE foundation.
The site states that the IDE, extensions, workflows, settings, and in-progress work carry over when updating, and that plan and pricing are unchanged. Windsurf for JetBrains IDEs continues to be available separately.
