Digiexam Lockdown is a Mac app that brings secure assessments into Canvas, the learning management system teachers already use. Digiexam adds a secure layer around Canvas, giving full control over the exam session and preventing access to unauthorized resources. Admins define exactly what students can and can't do, including which websites and apps are available during assignments, quizzes, and exams.

The app works with Canvas quizzes, New Quizzes, and assignments, including file uploads, so teachers and students stay within Canvas. Users can be synced from Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID, and students sign in with the school accounts they already have, so no users need to be created by hand. Teachers create and configure exams in Canvas, selecting which resources students may access, and students log in through Digiexam Lockdown to complete their exam.

The product is positioned as a way to prevent students from using AI tools and other unauthorized resources during assessments. Digiexam also offers a separate Exam Platform for managing the full exam lifecycle, from creation through delivery and grading, and Lockdown is currently listed as newly available with early access.
