Disk Drill is a Mac data recovery application that can recover deleted, lost, or damaged files, including documents, music, photos, and videos, from internal and external hard drives, memory cards, iPhones, iPads, Android devices, RAID arrays, and virtual hard drives. It supports recovery of 400+ file types and works with both Intel-based Macs and Macs with M1-M5 chips. The app can scan storage devices, preview recoverable files, and restore lost partitions, including data from formatted drives. It also offers scanning of Time Machine backup disks and local Time Machine snapshots.

The software is designed to be simple to use, with a few clicks to start a scan and a list of recoverable files to preview before restoring. Disk Drill includes data protection features, with protected file recovery being free when those features are enabled, and a PRO upgrade available to recover all deleted files. Advanced users can customize the recovery process, and detailed step-by-step instructions are available in an online knowledge base.

Disk Drill is available as a free download for Mac, is also offered for Windows, and includes additional free disk tools, including a Clever Online Video Repair tool for fixing broken MP4 and MOV files.
