About
DiskCatalogMaker for Mac helps you catalog your discs and find what's on them later. Simply select a mounted disk to scan it, use batch scan mode for multiple discs, and optionally generate thumbnail images. Catalogs can be browsed with a Finder-like interface, printed, and used to select, open, or Quick Look at original items, with a pie chart view for checking disk usage.
Search is a core strength. You can find duplicate files across selected disks, search by name and other file attributes, use AND/OR boolean expressions, reopen recent searches, and search catalogs through Spotlight. The app also supports Apple Silicon, Dark Mode, opening multiple catalogs at once, and archive formats including Zip, StuffIt, RAR, 7-Zip, tar, gzip, bzip2, CompactPro, and LHA.
DiskCatalogMaker is available in a 30-day free evaluation period, with user and family licenses offered for purchase. It requires macOS 12 or later and runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, with localizations in 13 languages.
