About
DJ.Studio Next is a timeline-based DAW for DJs, available on Mac and Windows. You add your tracks, the app orders them by tempo and key using harmonic matching, and you can edit each transition on the timeline before exporting the finished mix as audio (WAV or MP3) or video (MP4 with a music visualizer). Exports can also go straight to Mixcloud or YouTube with an auto-generated track list. It works with your existing music libraries, including rekordbox, Serato, Traktor, Engine DJ, VirtualDJ, djay Pro, Mixed In Key and iTunes, as well as Beatport streaming tracks.
DJ.Studio Next is aimed at bedroom DJs, producers and performing artists. It is built for preparing and exporting mixes rather than live performance, so many users prepare sets in DJ.Studio and then perform them in rekordbox, Serato or Traktor. It runs entirely on a laptop and needs no DJ controller or extra hardware.
A free 7-day trial is available without a credit card, and it does not convert to a paid plan automatically.
