About

DJV is an open source application for playing back and reviewing media. It plays high-resolution image sequences and movies in real time, with support for audio, high bit-depth images, and color management through OpenColorIO.

For comparison and review work, DJV offers A/B comparison with wipe, overlay, difference, and tile modes. Timelines are supported through OpenTimelineIO, including bundles and the ability to switch between proxy and full-resolution media references. Multi-track audio includes variable-speed and reverse playback.

DJV can export images, image sequences, and movies with audio, and it supports command line automation. Experimental USD support is available when building from source. The application runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows.
