About
Dockev is a visual desktop app for Docker Engine. Instead of typing commands like docker ps, docker logs -f, or docker compose up, you get a dashboard that shows all your containers, with buttons to start and stop them and panels for logs, files, and stats. It works with Colima, Podman, Docker Engine, Docker Desktop, OrbStack, Rancher Desktop, and any Docker socket, so you can keep the Docker setup you already use. Dockev is also customizable, with color themes (including GitHub, One Dark, Dracula, Nord, and Tokyo Night, plus light variants), adjustable list density, and layout and font options.
Dockev stores no credentials itself. Engine credentials, remote connection tokens, and TLS keys are kept in the macOS Keychain. Remote connections support TLS with client and CA certificates, and local connections use a Unix socket, so there are no network exposures or open ports.
Dockev is currently in Early Access. Version 0.6.0 adds a Kubernetes and Swarm preview, a redesigned terminal, and layout customization.
