DOSBox Staging is a modern continuation of DOSBox that adds advanced features and follows current development practices. It is a (mostly) drop-in replacement for older DOSBox versions, so existing configurations should continue to work, and users gain access to many advanced features.
The project offers stable release builds for Windows, macOS, and Linux, available from its project website. Development builds are also created automatically for every commit merged to the main branch, though downloading them requires a GitHub login.
