About
Drovio is a remote pair programming tool for distributed development teams. It lets you share any IDE or app running on your screen, with the lowest latency experience, and it is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Up to 10 participants can each have their own mouse cursor and interact with your apps, which the site describes as working better than sitting at the same desk. Drovio is built for pair programming, code reviews, coding interviews, and remote collaboration.
Voice and video are included. Drovio provides voice chat with echo cancellation and lets you share your webcam. Beyond pair programming, the site says Drovio can be used for co-designing in Figma, Sketch, or other design tools, running remote workshops and planning sessions, and teaching by viewing students' screens. Teams can be onboarded with centralized billing and one-click session launches, and sessions can be started from within Slack. Participants can join through the app or a web browser without installing anything.
