About
DuoConnect lets you access your organization's SSH servers and RDP hosts without using a VPN, provided your organization has deployed Duo Network Gateway. It is supported on 64-bit versions of Windows, macOS, and Linux. Setup involves installing the DuoConnect client on your workstation and then updating your SSH or RDP configuration. Your Duo administrator supplies the connection details you need.
On Windows, the guide covers installing DuoConnect via its MSI installer, configuring PuTTY or OpenSSH-based terminals such as Git and Cygwin with DuoConnect connection strings, and setting up RDP. RDP access additionally requires Duo Desktop (version 2.24.0 or later) and DuoConnect 2.0.2 or later, and is not supported on shared computers. Windows 11 24H2 users should install DuoConnect 2.0.6 or later to use application relay apps.
