About
Dynobase is a desktop GUI client for DynamoDB that lets you query and edit DynamoDB data, explore schemas, and design single-table models. It connects to your AWS profiles and local databases, and is available for macOS (including Apple Silicon), Linux, and Windows. Version 3.0 adds semantic and vector search against existing DynamoDB vector indexes, visual JSON path filtering for nested attributes, and a schema explorer that surfaces nested paths, missing attributes, and mixed types.
For day-to-day work, Dynobase lets you search tables across AWS profiles and Regions, edit cells or JSON with review before saving, and compare items. Queries run as a Query or a Scan depending on the conditions you enter, and you can check the scan cost estimate before running. Dynobase also supports importing and exporting CSV or JSON data, generating SDK or CLI code for supported operations, and running SQL-style PartiQL statements.
Dynobase also offers optional AI assistance that drafts code from natural language descriptions, using a provider you choose (the OpenAI option uses your own API key). A 7-day free trial is available with no credit card required.
