Eclipse IDE for Eclipse Committers

About

The Eclipse Foundation is a global community of communities that brings together developers, organisations, and innovators to share knowledge, collaborate openly, and turn ideas into real-world impact. According to the website, the Foundation has provided a vendor-neutral home for open source collaboration for over 20 years and currently includes 450+ projects, 15K+ contributors, 300+ members, and 20+ industry collaborations.

The site describes several ways to get involved: exploring open source projects and industry collaborations, attending community events ranging from local meetups to global conferences, and using downloads, marketplaces, documentation, and community programs. Individuals and organisations can join as members, become sponsors, or contribute as individuals to help guide projects and shape open technologies.
