EEZ Studio is a free, open-source tool for building desktop and embedded GUIs using drag-and-drop design and visual flowchart programming. It supports LVGL 8.x and 9.x, offers ready-to-use project templates and examples, and includes a royalty-free runtime. Its EEZ Flow feature lets users add programming logic to a GUI through visual, low-code or no-code flowcharting, and a built-in debugger provides variable monitoring, breakpoints, and single-step execution.
The app also covers GUI features such as animations with a timeline editor, an expression builder, customizable color themes, multilanguage support with XLIFF import/export, and C++ code generation for embedded targets. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows, and includes plug-in-based modularity and GitHub and gitea.io version control integration.
In addition, EEZ Studio supports remote control of test and measurement equipment via SCPI/VISA, aimed at data collection during development and at production-line automation.
