ELECOM Mouse Assistant 6 (for Mac) is ELECOM's proprietary mouse software. Once installed, it lets you assign functions to mouse buttons and configure various mouse settings. It supports macOS Ventura (13), Sonoma (14), and Sequoia (15), and works with a wide range of ELECOM mice, including wired, wireless 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and PRO models, along with trackball and other ELECOM product lines.

The latest version, Ver.6.4.0, adds Hat Gesture (ver.0.1-β) for the IST PRO series, which assigns a different function to each of the four cursor directions. This gesture runs as an onboard function on the device itself, so it works without Mouse Assistant. Version 6.4.0 also fixes issues with Japanese text input and with mouse drag operations not releasing properly, and adds support for the DST-L080BP series.

For macOS Sierra (10.12) and earlier, support ended with Ver.6.0.0, and older versions of the software are available for download. Users should check the product's homepage or packaging to confirm their mouse is compatible.
