Elgato Wave Link

About

Wave Link is a free audio mixing app for Mac and Windows, built for content creators rather than music production. It lets you route any audio source to any output mix, with up to 5 mixes, each with its own routing, levels, effects, and label. Sources sit on the left and mixes on the right in a horizontal matrix, so you can see where each signal flows. Creators can group multiple apps and sources into single channels, such as Zoom, Teams, and Discord together, and connect up to 4 Elgato Wave devices plus third-party mics, interfaces, or capture cards.

Wave Link also supports pro-grade effects on any source, including VST3 (Windows) or AU (macOS) plugins, and Stream Deck control for adjusting volume, muting inputs, triggering effects, and switching mixes in real time. The site notes the app detects inputs automatically, so setup is quick. It is described as having no subscription and no ecosystem lock-in.

According to the website, Wave Link works with any mic or setup your computer recognizes, and it is designed to let users start with one mic and one channel, then explore more complex routing as needed.
