About
Elpass is a password manager for macOS (version 12 and later) that keeps your passwords, digital identities, and files in one place. Passwords are stored securely in the cloud and can be accessed at any time, so you no longer need to remember them. Identities let you securely store bank cards and IDs, while encrypted notes can hold licenses and security questions. The macOS and iOS apps are fully native, offering fast performance and support for the latest system features, and the app works on iOS devices as well as in modern browsers.
Elpass uses state-of-the-art encryption, and its encryption code is open source so anyone can check and verify it. Data can be synced via iCloud or Dropbox, and according to the website, Elpass cannot access this data and does not collect private user data, in line with Apple's privacy requirements.
Elpass is offered as a yearly subscription at $19.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial, either as a direct purchase or through the App Store. Subscriptions give unified access to the macOS and iOS apps.
