About
This site offers pure builds of GNU Emacs for Mac OS X, presented as clean, unmodified releases with no extras added. The current download is Emacs Version 31.1 as a Universal Binary, about 170.871 MB, released 2026-08-24.
The page provides a download button for the Emacs build, though on this browser, which doesn't support SVG, the page appears in a plainer layout. The site also includes sections for How To guides, an RSS feed, About, Donate, and a list of Donors.
The site is credited to David Caldwell and carries a copyright notice spanning 2009 to 2026.
