About
Excire Search 2026 is a plugin for Lightroom Classic that uses AI to help photographers and filmmakers find, organize, and select their photos and video clips. It recognizes faces, objects, scenes, colors, lighting, emotions, and movement, and offers search by text prompt, similarity, people, face, keyword, and aesthetic rating. Its organization tools include automatic tagging, writing keywords directly into the Lightroom catalog, a duplicate finder, and content plus metadata filtering.
For selection, the app provides AI-assisted culling that groups photos by scene, people, date, or bursts, along with face sharpness detection, automatic focus checking, and best-shot detection based on sharpness, expressions, and aesthetics. A new Excire Search Panel gives one-click access to core tools and can be placed flexibly across single or dual monitor setups.
According to the website, all processing happens locally on the computer with no cloud or data transfer, and the product is GDPR-compliant and developed in Germany. The site also lists a free trial and a purchase option, along with an online manual, video tutorials, and FAQs.
