About
extFS for Mac by Paragon Software gives Mac users read and write access to Linux drives. macOS does not support Linux-formatted drives, even in read-only mode, so the app provides fast, unlimited read/write access to ext2, ext3 and ext4 drives connected directly to your Mac. You can write, edit, copy, move and delete files on these drives. The app also lets you mount, unmount, check, repair and format Linux-formatted volumes.
The app is designed to work like Apple's Disk Utility, extending its functions to Linux ext2, ext3 and ext4 volumes and advanced mount options. Mount options include enabling Spotlight indexing, mounting in read-only mode, and turning off automatic mounting so you can control access to a volume manually. A lightweight menu bar app is also available for common volume operations such as mount, unmount, verify and repair. It supports both light and dark macOS modes.
extFS for Mac by Paragon Software supports macOS Golden Gate and older macOS versions, and it is built for Apple silicon M1, M2, M3 and M4 Macs. To set it up, install the app, restart your Mac, and your extFS volumes will appear in the Finder.
