About
FaceScreen is a Mac app that puts a live camera view of your face on your screen, or a floating text overlay with your name, role, company, website, social media handle, or anything else you want. The camera view floats on top of all other windows and can be turned on with a click or a keyboard shortcut. The app lives in the menu bar, and customizable keyboard shortcuts are available for the main actions if you prefer not to leave your keyboard or use a Stream Deck.
You can customize most of the look. For the camera view, you can change the shape, size, aspect ratio, orientation, and corner radius, and adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue. For the text overlay, you can change the text, font, background, and colors to suit your brand. You can also set a default position for the camera view and drag it around the screen. A ring light feature uses your screen as a soft, adjustable light for calls and recordings, with controls for brightness, warmth, and glow.
FaceScreen runs on macOS 15 (Sequoia) and later. It is a one-time purchase that includes lifetime updates, and you can buy it from the App Store or directly from the website, or install it via Homebrew. A separate free trial is not offered, but you can request a full refund if the app is not the right fit.
