About
File Juicer is a macOS app that extracts content from files. You can pull images from PowerPoint slide shows and presentations, extract images and text from PDF files, recover images and video from erased flash cards, and recover text from damaged files. It can also extract images and HTML files from Safari's cache, pull attachments from email archives, extract album artwork from mp3, m4a and m4p files, convert ithmb iPod cache files to TIFF, and convert ZIP files saved as .EXE files back to ZIP.
File Juicer searches any file byte by byte, regardless of its type, and can save JPEG, PNG, PDF, HEIC, MP3, MP4, HTML, and many other formats it finds inside to a folder you choose. Users drop files or folders onto the app to start extraction. It is listed as requiring macOS 10.15.7 or newer and is noted as ready for macOS 26 Tahoe. Flash card image recovery requires that Finder can see the card.
