About
The IP Remote Utility (IPRU) for Mac provides toggles and controls for managing FSI AM, BM, CM, DM, XM, and XMP series monitors as well as BoxIO units. It lets you control function and menu keys, switch inputs, and use keyboard shortcuts to operate your monitor (shortcuts are available in IPRU version 1.7.1 and newer). On DM series monitors, you can capture full-resolution frames and save them as .JPG, .BMP, or BoxIO .RAW images.
Version 2 of IPRU, currently in beta, was rebuilt for speed and ease of use. Its highlights include network scanning to discover connected FSI devices, automatic reconnection to previously used devices on launch, improved integration with third-party controllers such as the Elgato Stream Deck (with global hotkeys that work even when IPRU isn't the focused application), retrieval of GaiaColor Analyzer reports from DM series monitors, and a built-in custom marker creation tool for FSI QD-OLED models. For BoxIO units, IPRU can change operation modes and channel settings, load LUTs, update firmware, and capture frames. It also offers ScopeStream, which sends real-time waveform and vectorscope data from a BoxIO or DM series monitor to your computer over the network, and user profiles for saving and recalling device configurations.
The Mac version is available as a download for macOS 10.13 or newer, and the version 2 beta is offered in Intel (x64) and Apple Silicon (arm64) builds requiring macOS 10.15 or newer. Some features require BoxIO Firmware 1.57 or newer.
