About
fldigi is listed on the W1HKJ & Associates site as a modem and ARQ (flarq) program, and its page groups it with related tools such as flrig (rig control, which cooperates with fldigi), flmsg, flamp, and fllog. The site states that dmg, source, and Windows setup files are available, so a Mac disk image is offered for download. The site also lists OS X among the platforms covered by its NBEMS support group and general usage support group.
The current fldigi/flarq release is listed as 4.2.13 / 4.3.9, dated 07/29/2026. Users can find an English manual (PDF), a Ukrainian manual (PDF), and online help. Source code is available on the site and at SourceForge, and the fldigi wiki provides build instructions for various distributions.
The website does not describe macOS-specific features or the detailed functions of the Mac build. For mode specifications, waterfall displays, and audio clips, the site points to its Sights & Sounds of Digital Modes page.
