About
FlyEnv is an open-source local development environment for macOS, Windows, and Linux that connects AI coding agents to a real local stack through MCP. Instead of only writing code, an AI agent can read a project, detect the runtimes and services it needs, install them, create a local site, and bring up services such as PHP and MySQL. Developers get a working URL with a domain and HTTPS, such as https://shop.test, and can then run, test, and fix the project locally.
FlyEnv runs services natively on the host machine without a container layer, and installs only the runtimes and databases a project actually uses. It supports project-level runtime versions (for example, different Node.js or PHP versions per project), startup groups that launch a project's full stack with one click, and a wide range of runtimes, databases, web servers, and developer tools, including PHP, Node.js, Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, and phpMyAdmin.
FlyEnv's core features are free to use, with limits on local sites and custom projects. A one-time $10 Pro License removes those limits, unlocks the full built-in toolset, and includes future updates for one active device.
