About
Folder Hub is a file browser for macOS 11 and later that enhances Finder, giving you the shortest path to your files and folders. You can create workspaces to organize files and folders, declutter your desktop, and manage screenshots more easily. An on-demand floating window, opened with ⌘ + option + →, provides quick access to your files from any workspace, including on notched MacBooks where it sits under the notch.
The app works much like Finder, with drag-and-drop file upload, file previews using the Space key, the ability to open files in a different app, and a navigation bar for moving between folders. Users on the website describe it as a productivity tool that speeds up their workflow and helps them keep files easy to find.
Reviewers praise the developer's responsive support and quick updates. Requested features mentioned in reviews include German language support, resizable icons, tabs, a custom transparency option, copy and paste, a delay before the window appears, and an option to hide the tray menu.
