About

FontBase is a font manager built by designers, for designers. It is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and its core features are free. You can organize fonts into collections and sub-collections and activate them in a single click. Watched folders let you add any folder from your computer and display its fonts inside FontBase without moving them, and nested folders show your file structure as-is. You can also activate fonts without installing them and set folders to activate their fonts automatically. Search finds fonts with one click, even across thousands of files.

For type work, FontBase includes a specimen page with font styles, glyphs, a waterfall view, and font table data. A Playground lets you apply styling to headings and other page elements, and you can export the generated CSS for web projects. The app also supports a large set of OpenType features, lets you browse and view any glyph in any language, and provides access to Google Fonts from its library.

FontBase Awesome is an optional subscription that adds more features, including font licenses. With licenses, you can set license seats for any font, sync between your team, limit usage, and monitor font activations.
