About
Framéd is a menu bar utility for macOS that captures screenshots at exact ratios or pixel dimensions. You can lock a ratio such as 16:9, 1:1, or 4:3, or an exact size like 1920×1080, so every capture comes out at the right dimensions without resizing afterward. Two shortcuts cover the whole workflow: set the dimension, then open the selection overlay and capture. Saved presets let you reuse the ratios and sizes you need for documentation, social media, landing pages, and review notes.
Output follows your system screenshot location and can be exported in the system default format, PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP. Framéd has no accounts, uploads, or editing tools; it focuses on the single task of producing precise screenshots. It is built for Mac App Store distribution and handles Screen Recording and screenshot-folder permissions explicitly. It requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later.
