About
FreeYourMusic is a native app for macOS that moves your playlists, liked songs, saved albums, and followed artists between streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Tidal, along with 10+ others. You sign in to the service you're leaving using its official login, so your password is never shared with FreeYourMusic. Then you choose a destination, select what to move, and start the transfer. Smart track matching keeps names and song order intact, and a 1,000-track library typically finishes in under 10 minutes.
After a transfer, tracks that didn't match perfectly are flagged for one-tap Rematch with suggested alternatives rather than being silently dropped. Auto-Sync can keep two services mirrored by pushing new additions across every 15 minutes, and Cloud Backup can snapshot your playlists so you can restore them if you lose access to a service.
The free tier lets you transfer 300 songs, or 600 after a free email sign-up, with no card required. Paid options include quarterly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. FreeYourMusic also runs on iOS, Android, Windows, and Linux, so you can start a transfer on your Mac and finish it on another device.
