About
FxFactory is a Mac app offering a catalog of visual effects, audio plugins and apps for video content creators. The catalog works with hosts including Final Cut Pro, Motion, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Premiere, After Effects, Audition and DaVinci Resolve, and is organized into categories such as transitions, titling, keying, color correction, captioning and subtitles, and face and object tracking.
The catalog includes a range of free tools, such as adjustment layers, pan and zoom photo animation, title generators, a node-based compositor called FxCore, and several utilities like a barcode generator and thumbnail maker. Many paid products are also listed, including Photo Montage, Background Remover, Face Blur, Caption Burner, Magic Captions and Hawaiki Keyer, with prices shown on the site ranging from $19 to $299.
The website describes FxFactory Pro as a visual effects toolbox for professional video and lists a variety of specialized products, such as 3D title animation tools, lower thirds, transitions, and an audio tool called dxRevive for restoring speech recordings. The page does not provide further detail on system requirements or how the individual tools perform.
