About
Glaze lets you build your own desktop apps for Mac just by describing what you want in plain language. An AI agent helps take you from first idea to finished app, and if something isn't right, you can simply talk to it and change it. You don't need to know how to code, though if you do, you can shape things further. Glaze apps live on your Mac, launch instantly, and work offline. They can be used for internal team tools, personal utilities, menu bar apps, workflow automations, or quick one-off tasks.
Because Glaze builds for the desktop rather than the browser, your apps can access your file system, keyboard shortcuts, menu bar, background processes, and other parts of your operating system. Your data stays on your machine. Glaze apps can also connect to your APIs, local files, and hardware, and you can bring your own agent by using a Claude subscription or Glaze credits. Glaze currently requires macOS Tahoe and Apple Silicon.
You own your apps, including their code and content. You can share an app with anyone who has Glaze installed and is signed in, and they don't need a paid subscription to run it. You can publish to the public Glaze Store, or create a private Team Store to distribute apps within your team, which is free while Team Stores are in Beta. Pro adds unlisted publishing for one-to-one sharing.
