About
Glide is an extensible, keyboard-focused web browser for Mac. It is in alpha, so expect missing features and bugs. You can navigate the web with just a keyboard, using modal-based keymaps configured through a TypeScript config. Default mappings include h, j, k, and l for caret movement, f for link hints, and <C-j> and <C-k> for switching tabs.
Glide also supports the Web extensions API, includes a fuzzy tab manager that you can open with <space><space>, and offers site-specific settings and keymaps.
On macOS, Glide is available as an Apple Silicon or Intel .dmg, or you can install it with Homebrew using brew install --cask glide-browser. Glide is also available for Linux and Windows, though Windows support is experimental.
