GlueMotion is a Mac app for creating timelapse videos. It can process 100,000+ photos, including simple JPEG files or RAW files, and it is designed to guide you step by step from importing your image set to exporting the timelapse. Its engine supports modern Mac hardware and software technologies such as M1/M2, Metal, and HEVC.
Within the app, you can adjust and improve your images using filters such as White Balance, Motion, Noise Reduction, Color Controls, Light Correction, EV Correction, Gamma Correction, and Hue Correction. These filters can be tied to keyframes so that corrections change dynamically from frame to frame. GlueMotion also includes automatic deflickering, which detects and corrects brightness fluctuations that can cause flashing between frames. Live preview lets you try several frame rates without delay before exporting.
You can export corrected frames to use with other software, or export complete timelapse videos in formats such as 8K HEVC. Corrections made by the deflicker engine can also be exported as a CSV file, and reusable profiles can save your settings between sessions. GlueMotion is available in seven languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese).
