About
GridTracker has grown well beyond its original purpose of listening to WSJT-X traffic and plotting it on a map. It now presents a wide range of amateur radio information in one interface, including live traffic decodes, logbooks, real-time spot reports, weather, and current solar conditions. Its mapping is a central feature, showing real-time and historical contacts on a customizable, interactive map with overlays such as Greyline, real-time award tracking, Moon position, and reception reports. State, grid, and county details are accessible directly from the map.
Beyond mapping, GridTracker offers audio and visual alerts, callsign lookup from popular databases, and a customizable "Call Roster" table of live activity that can be tailored for award chasers or special events. Users can start QSOs with a single click, and the app integrates with many popular logging programs and web-based systems to show up-to-the-minute award progress. It also provides DXCC, country, and callsign prefix recognition, a fully offline mode for field day, POTA, SOTA, IOTA, and mobile use, and real-time spotting of other GridTracker and Log4OM users.
