About
Happy Hacking Keyboard is presented as a keyboard for professionals, designed across its key switches, size, structure, and layout to provide extreme durability and comfort. The website offers a "Download Keymap Tool & Firmware" option, and the HHKB 30th Anniversary Site is available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, with regional selections for France, Spain, Italy, the United States, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, other parts of Europe, and China.
The provided website text does not describe the Keymap Tool's features, how it works, or which operating systems it supports, so nothing can be confirmed about it as a Mac app from this source. The only information about it is that it is offered for download alongside firmware.
The page also includes a quote from Eiiti Wada, Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo, who notes that computers are increasingly consumables while keyboards are interfaces that people can use throughout their lives.
