Phocus Mobile extends the Hasselblad workflow from the studio to outdoor locations, letting you edit photos captured by Hasselblad cameras on the go. Edits can render true-to-life colours that reflect the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS). The app connects to Hasselblad X System and V System medium format cameras over Wi-Fi from iPhone, iPad, or Android devices, supporting photo import and export, editing and management including HDR photos, and camera and lens firmware updates. A USB-C to USB-C cable offers a faster, more stable connection for transfer, editing, management, and exporting.

For HDR, viewing HNCS HDR images from the X2D II 100C on HDR-capable devices reveals shadow detail and highlights with colour gradations meant to match what the eye sees, and the app supports precise HDR highlight adjustment with export as Ultra HDR JPG. RAW files from the X2D 100C, X1D II 50C, CFV 100C, and CFV II 50C can also be processed with HNCS HDR within the app and exported as Ultra HDR JPG or HDR TIFF. The app also includes Hasselblad Natural Noise Reduction (HNNR), an AI-based denoising option with two modes: Prioritise Purity, which minimises noise, and Prioritise Detail, which keeps some luminance noise to preserve detail.
