Herdbell is a tiny Mac app that keeps an eye on Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity. When one needs you, your shortcut opens a bar right over your work, so you can approve, reply or hand off without leaving what you're doing. A pointer glow in the right color signals which agent needs you, and sound and notifications stay off unless you turn them on.
Herdbell connects by adding hooks to each agent's settings, and it saves a timestamped backup before any change. It never signs in to an agent and never calls a model. The Context Bridge lets you hand a chat to another agent, and the dashboard shows your live and recent chats across all of them.
Herdbell has no database and no account, and everything it keeps stays on your Mac. Your chats, commands and files are never sent anywhere. The only online checks are for your license key and for new versions. It is priced at $9.99 at launch with no subscription, and it requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
