Hides

About

Hides is a macOS app for an uncluttered, distraction-free workspace. You can quickly hide all open apps through the menu or a shortcut key, or hide every app except the one you're currently using.

Focus Mode hides all apps except the active one, so when you open a new app, the others are hidden. It can be configured globally or for specific apps, and it's easy to enable or disable. Global keyboard shortcuts cover the main features. Hides sits in your menubar, and the site says it doesn't consume resources while waiting.

Hides requires macOS 14+ (Golden Gate recommended) and is localized for English, Dutch, German, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
