About
Hive is an open-source AI agent orchestrator for running multiple coding agents across projects. You can run Claude Code, OpenCode, and Codex sessions in parallel and see all of your running agents in one sidebar. Each agent runs on an isolated git worktree branch, so agents don't conflict with one another, and you can switch between them with a click. You can also connect multiple repositories so a single agent session has context across your entire stack.
Hive's worktree-first workflow lets you work on several branches at once without stashing or switching. You can create, archive, and organize worktrees with one click. Built-in AI coding sessions stream responses in real time, show tool calls as they execute, and let you approve permissions as needed, with undo and redo support. A file explorer shows live git status indicators, inline diffs, and file history, and includes an integrated Monaco editor. Git operations such as committing, pushing, pulling, and managing branches can be done visually.
To install on macOS, run `brew install --cask hive-app` via Homebrew, or download the latest .dmg from GitHub Releases. Hive is also available for Windows and Linux. Spaces let you group related projects and worktrees together.
