HopToDesk

About

HopToDesk is a free remote desktop app that works on macOS as well as Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and Raspberry Pi. It supports screen sharing, remote control, file transfer, and live chat. According to the website, it should connect to any peer without requiring changes to your router or firewall settings.

All traffic, including screen sharing, chats, and file transfers, is end-to-end encrypted. The website states that HopToDesk cannot see users' screens, files, or information shared during a remote session. The app is free for both personal and commercial use with no time limits, and its source code is open to everyone.

For managing multiple devices, HopToDesk offers an optional Dashboard with a free tier. It includes real-time device monitoring, unattended access to devices, and team features, and it can be scaled up through paid plans.
