iCollections

iCollections is a Mac app for keeping your desktop organized. It lets you create Collections, which are shaded areas on your desktop where you can sort and arrange icons, files, and folders. Related items stay together, so pictures, documents, screenshots, and applications are easy to find. You can start by creating a new collection from the iCollections main menu in the system toolbar.

iCollections also offers tabs for grouping files within one Collection, sort options, List View with sortable columns like Name, Size, and Date, and Auto-Shrink, which minimizes a Collection when it isn't in use. Each Collection can be labeled, resized, highlighted, and given its own style, fonts, and colors. Additional options include a Disk Panel, Folder View, Photo Frame, Calendar View, Web View for displaying websites on the desktop, and an Apps Monitor for running applications.

iCollections launches when your system starts and works with Retina displays and multiple monitors. It requires macOS 10.13 or later and is compatible with macOS 27 and Apple M chips.
