About
idevice_pair is a cross-platform GUI for creating iOS pairing files, over USB or over Wi-Fi. It runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows, and USB devices require usbmuxd to be installed. Devices connected over USB and Wi-Fi appear in a device dropdown, and you can create either a lockdown or a remote pairing (RPPairing) file on either transport. Remote pairing requires iOS 17.4 or later, while lockdown works on all supported devices.
You can save a created file to disk, or write it directly into an app's Documents directory over AFC. The app lists known pairing file locations for SideStore, LiveContainer+SideStore, StikDebug, SparseBox, Feather, Protokolle, Antrag, KSign, EnsWilde, Reynard Browser, Auto Capture, StosDebug, and StikStore. A Validate option checks that a newly created file works, and the device page shows developer mode and wireless debugging status.
Wireless pairing works without a cable for iPhone and iPad running iOS 27 or later, and for Apple TV in manual remote pairing mode. Both the computer and the device must be on the same network. Remote pairing records created over Wi-Fi are kept in memory only, so you must pair again after restarting the app. The project is MIT licensed.
