iMazing Profile Editor is a free Mac tool for IT professionals, system administrators, and developers who need to build Apple configuration profiles for iOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. It lets users create and edit MDM-compatible .mobileconfig files without writing XML, offers a searchable catalog of Apple system and app settings with per-setting documentation, and allows profiles to be signed directly in the app. It works with any MDM solution and can be deployed at scale or locally across a device fleet.

On macOS, the app's Total App Setup feature scans an app bundle and automatically configures the related payloads, including Privacy Preferences Policy Control (PPPC), Notifications, Login Items, and Associated Domains. Payload management features include importing and exporting .plist files, exporting macOS user-preference payloads to shell scripts, converting to and from MCX-style payloads, and resetting identifiers and UUIDs. Built-in validation checks that required properties are set, values meet their specifications, and settings are supported on target OS versions. The app also supports community preference manifests from the ProfileManifests project and custom manifest files.
