About
InfiniDesk lets you create multiple desktop "surfaces" on your Mac, each with its own layout of file and folder icons, widget visibility, and wallpaper. You can keep a separate desktop for each project or task and switch between them using global keyboard shortcuts. Follow Spaces Mode displays different desktop contents within each Space in Mission Control, and other apps such as Apple Shortcuts, Raycast, Alfred, BetterTouchTool, and Keyboard Maestro can remotely switch desktops.
InfiniDesk works by toggling file visibility and does not communicate with the internet. Your data stays in your normal Desktop folder, and the app never moves, copies, renames, or deletes files. It never restarts the macOS Finder, and switching desktops does not affect open applications, which can still save files on a hidden desktop.
InfiniDesk is compatible with macOS 11 Big Sur through macOS 27 Golden Gate, supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, and is localised into six languages. A free trial includes 100 desktop switches, and a Lifetime License is available for $12.99 as a one-time purchase for a single Mac.
