About
Input Source Pro helps Mac users switch and track their keyboard input sources. A minimal, unobtrusive on-screen tooltip shows which keyboard is current, and you can choose to display it when long-pressing the left mouse button, when switching keyboards, and/or when switching apps. You can also set a default keyboard for each app and switch keyboards automatically based on the website you're visiting in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Vivaldi, and Arc.
Other features include Smart Punctuation, which forces English punctuation in apps like IDEs and Terminals, and Function Key Mode, which toggles between standard F-keys and media keys on a per-app basis. You can switch input sources with custom shortcuts or by tapping single or combined modifier keys such as Shift or Command.
Input Source Pro requires macOS 12 or later. It can be downloaded directly or installed via Homebrew with `brew install --cask input-source-pro`. Its creator, Runju, built the app after being confused and making mistakes while switching input sources as a multilingual speaker. The project is available on GitHub under GPLv3.
