About
IPTVnator is a free, open-source video player for IPTV playlists. It supports M3U and M3U8 playlists, which you can load from local files or remote URLs, with automatic updates on startup. It also supports Xtream Codes and Stalker/Ministra portals, and you can set a custom User-Agent header per playlist. For live TV, it offers an EPG/XMLTV TV guide, channel search, and group-based channel lists. On macOS, you can use external players such as MPV, VLC, and IINA, or the experimental embedded MPV player that renders inside the app window.
Beyond live TV, IPTVnator includes a movies and series section with detail pages, season tabs, resume positions, and a download manager for offline viewing (desktop). Optional TMDB enrichment, which requires your own API key, adds plots, cast, trailers, and artwork. Favorites, watch history, a command palette (Ctrl/Cmd+K), and global search help you find and organize content.
IPTVnator is built with Electron and Angular, so it runs as a cross-platform desktop app and as an installable PWA. It includes light and dark themes, 21 language options, and keyboard shortcuts. The project does not provide any playlists or digital content, and it is available under the MIT license.
