About
iReal Pro is a virtual band that accompanies you in any style, tempo, or key, with thousands of chord charts available. It offers more than 50 backing track styles, from Jazz to Latin, Rock to Reggae, each with its own instruments. The jazz styles use real recorded drums instead of MIDI. You can write, share, and edit chord charts, or download songs that the global iReal Pro forum community shares for free.
The app is built for practice. You can loop tricky sections, use automatic tempo increase and transposition, adjust the mix, or mute an instrument to play its part yourself. Interactive chord diagrams show the exact fingering for learners. Teachers can use it in the classroom or while screensharing over a live stream, and can create playlists of exercises for students.
iReal Pro is a one-time purchase for each platform, including Mac, with no subscription, no ads, and free updates. It has been in development for 18 years and runs fully offline.
